What is a KYC? Why do I need to verify my identity?

Rand is required to follow Know your Customer (KYC) regulatory requirements to verify user’s identity. All users must complete a KYC form. To complete KYC, Rand users must provide us with a copy of their passport or national ID, a few personal details, and a verification selfie. The process should take less than 3 minutes to complete and will give you access to Rand’s financial services.
